Ultimate Hockey is expanding its technical expertise: Jürgen Weiss, the mastermind and developer behind LIKE-ICE!, is joining the company as Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of its Playground division.
Well known across the hockey and ice sports industry, Weiss has set new standards with his synthetic ice technology. LIKE-ICE! delivers realistic skating performance, uncompromising braking and technological leadership for both home training and professional sports – completely without the use of lubricants.
What does this mean for Ultimate Hockey? Partnering with Jürgen marks a decisive step in the strategic expansion of the team. Ultimate Hockey gains high-end technical expertise backed by decades of experience in plastics research, product development and the physics of ice skating.
In his new role as CTO of the Playground division, Weiss will help take Ultimate Hockey to the next level. Together, the team aims to make the future of ice hockey training even more innovative, smarter and more efficient.
